| Workshop: Scenario Building - Planning for a future with HIV/AIDS: A tool for political and socio-economic dialogue |

| The London School of Economics (LSE) / Development Studies Institute, LSE (DESTIN) is organizing the “Scenario Building - Planning for a future with HIV/AIDS: A tool for policitical and socio-economic dialogue” in London on 12-13 October 2006.
|
| |
| This workshop is aimed at professionals in the private and public sectors and from NGOs. It will guide participants through a methodology of building and using scenarios as well as how to work with existing scenarios. The sessions will be interactive and strengthened by the high-caliber of experienced and skilled participants. |
| |
| The first day of the workshop will consist of: |
| |
- A background to HIV/AIDS issues and their social and economic implications
- An introduction to the scenario building approaches and techniques
- Development of preliminary scenario components
|
| |
| The second day will be entirely occupied on scenario development and outcomes followed by reflections on scenario implications. |
| |
| Please note: registration before August 15 is £550 per participant, between August 15 and September 20 registration fee will be £650. |
